There are plenty of things to do and enjoy in our beautiful part of South Australia. Here are some of them…

  • Kangaroo Island – Hop on the ferry and take a trip to see what Kangaroo Island has to offer. Day trips are available, and you can leave your car at the Station and be dropped off and picked up. Please see our Sealink Page for fares, times, offers and tours available.
  • View Whales, Penguins & Local Wildlife – Occasionally whales are spotted off the coast of Cape Jervis or only 40min from Cape Jervis you can enjoy the magic of whale watching in the Victor Harbor area.
  • Fishing Charters – We will organise a day of fishing for snapper, whiting, squid, sharks, tommies and many more for you and your friends. Minimum persons required on a charter.
  • Golf – Lady Bay is home to the 18 hole Links Golf Club.
  • Markets – Every weekend there is guaranteed to be a country market on somewhere on the Fleurieu. Please check at Reception.
  • Food & Wine – Here we are situated very close to some of the best wine regions in the world. We have a beautiful selection of wines available at Reception.
  • National Parks – Are situated all throughout the Fleurieu, Deep Creek Conservation Park being the closest one to Cape Jervis Accommodation, only 15min drive away.
  • The Heysen Trail – A fantastic bush walk that starts at Cape Jervis and runs all the way through to Parachilna Gorge taking in 1200km of beautiful scenery. By appointment, we can drop you off at the trail and pick you up where and when arranged.
  • Walks & State Forests – There are also short walks in the area from 1.5km to 6.5km.
  • History – Not only is Cape Jervis Accommodation rich in history being settled in the 1830’s, there is also a huge amount of history in the area.

  • Waterways access
  • Coastal Areas – Morgans Beach is a fantastic swimming beach close to Cape Jervis.
  • Surfing & Skating – The nearby townships offer great skate parks and surfing opportunities.
  • Diving & Snorkeling – HMAS Hobart  is a shipwreck that harbors countless marine life, whilst Rapid Bay, only 15min from Cape Jervis, is home to the Leafy Seadragon.

  • Tours Available – Organised tours run out of Adelaide down through the Fleurieu, there is sure to be one to suit everyone.
